To continuously challenge my drawing skills, I utilize chalk art to study and recreate characters from film, television, and animation. I frequently focus on children's media; it is incredibly rewarding to see kids get excited when they recognize their favorite characters outside my home. Working with chalk on a large scale has significantly increased my confidence as an artist, sharpening my ability to draw accurately from reference and execute bold, intentional mark-making.
